This switch detects the position of a moving element by a mechanically driven lever and sends an electronic signal when the moving part has reached its end position.

Since the switches require few components and have a very low energy consumption, typically there are connected 3 of them to the moving parts (although it is possible to connect 6 switches). They identify the origin of the X, Y and Z-axes.

The limit switch can be operated with both direct and altering current up to 125V and has two small bores through which it can be fixed to other components.
