This bipolar stepper engines have been designed by ourselves in order to be compatible with all the current RepRap printers. Unlike other steppers available out there, our design includes a 70cm length cable and a 4-wire crimped connector compatible with the vast majority of electronics, from RAMPS and Sanguinololu to Megatronics.
The engines provide a high torque with a nominal power of 10W. We currently use this engines in our own 3D printers.
They are available in two versions: single and double shaft. The double shaft model was designed to be placed in the top of mendel-like printers. This way, printing a plastic piece for the second shaft makes the calibration of the Z axis easier, without exposing your fingers to potential cuts due to the spinning Z threaded rods.
