This extruder core has a M8 bore hole where traditionally a hollow PEEK bolt from a
J-Head or similar extruder is fixed.
Its construction consists of only one component. Therefore the friction on the filament that can be caused by the union of the nozzle and the extruder spindle, is marginal. Since there is no such physical union within this thermoblock, it is impossible for the plastic to accumulate in one spot and the material feed requires less energy.
