Fully assembled hotend included with Ender 3 printers (also with Ender 2 and Ender 5) as well as with CR-10's (also the CR10S and CR20). Silicone sleeve included to isolate the thermal block.
In this hotend, the PTFE tube enters inside the heatsink and the throat until it reaches the thermal block, so the maximum temperature at which it can operate is limited by the temperature at which PTFE begins to degrade, which is above 250ºC so we are safe printing PLA, PETG or ABS but, if we want to print other types of materials that require a higher temperature such as PC (polycarbonate) or HIPS, we better opt for an all-metal extruder.
It mounts a 0.4mm brass nozzle which can be used with any type of plastic, although, if we intend to use plastics infused with metal or carbon fiber, it is recommended to replace it with a stainless steel nozzle which will give us greater resistance to abrasion.
